Lincoln Skins New Single Release ‘YOURS’ Causes upset amongst the music video cast and their family members.
Lincoln Skins celebrated their new single release ‘Yours’ on August 17th, 2024.
The music video has however caused some controversy personally for two of the cast members. Sharon and Gareth Long that play the main characters in the video have been in a relationship for over 20 years. Sharon commented after playing the video to her mum. ‘Due to the emotional content, my Mum just chucked the phone at me and said don’t ever play that to me again!”
‘Yours’ is a beautifully melodic song that breathes haunting harmonies and undertones throughout, but it has a direct message. You can either listen with confidence that you are true to yourself or alternatively walk the path of denial.’ Says James Dean.
Rebecca Nudd-Valentine and James Dean formed Lincoln Skins in 2019 and since then have spilled out crowd pleasing hits such as ‘Kick of your boots’ ‘All my love’ ‘Under the cherry tree’ and their very successful Track ‘White horses’. Spreading their love all over the UK and picking up many unsuspecting country fans along the way.
Heading out to Nashville this October they are keen to pick up at least one award for the 5 music nominations they have received from The Josie music awards. ‘Exciting times are ahead’ said Rebecca ‘We have so much to look forward to and the release of our music video is high on that list.’
‘Yours’ Music video is due for release on August 24th, 2024
